Our story

Meet the designer

I have always been drawn to form, patterns, and interior design. Ceramics lived within me as a quiet dream since childhood, but it wasn't until 2023 that I finally attended a weekend ceramics course. I felt like a child on Christmas Eve.

The moment I placed my hands in the clay and began shaping it, I knew I had found my material. I found home. The years of searching as a designer, never quite finding my calling, were finally over.

I am Ann-Sofi Kantola, the woman behind Formkant. A deep and warm soul who designs and shapes authenticity from the heart. Through my design, I want to touch something deeper in you - through aesthetics and feeling, from my heart to yours.
